Kevin Flanagan

Kevin Flanagan has been consulting to Mentor Services for over ten years. During this time, he developed a comprehensive DB2 Commands & Utilities class for computer operations personnel. He also teaches a complete curriculum of DB2, IMS, TSO and JCL courses as well as PC-based mainframe development using the Microfocus family of products. Kevin also provides instructor led training for a wide range of GUI development tools including Visual Basic, PowerBuilder, and Microsoft Access.

Kevin has more than twenty-four years of experience in data processing implementing large scale applications for a variety of businesses in the financial, insurance, manufacturing, and defense industries. His background includes business systems design, application programming, data base administration, systems programming, and capacity planning.

He has taught for a large number of clients such as Aetna, NYNEX, Chemical Bank, Sikorsky Aircraft, and the Department of Defense (USAF).

Kevin holds an Honors BA in Philosophy from the University of Connecticut and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies at Sacred Heart University.
