Teresa has over twenty years experience in the data processing field as an instructor, technical writer, and applications programmer.

As a highly sought after instructor, Teresa currently teaches Java, Perl, UNIX (Introduction, Shell Programming, and Command Tools), Awk, and C Language. Before working with UNIX, she taught many mainframe topics, such as COBOL, OS/JCL, 370 Assembly Language, BASIC, and RPG.

Because of her abilities as a technical writer and experienced instructor, Teresa has developed excellent instructor / student training materials for courses in Java, Perl, UNIX, C Language, COBOL, OS/JCL, 370 Assembly Language, and RPG. Because of her background as a programmer, she is able to understand the needs of her clients and students since she also wrote, maintained, and documented programs on IBM mainframes and on various UNIX platforms.

Teresa's courseware publications include Java as a First Object-Oriented Language, Introduction to PERL, Advanced Topics in PERL, Introduction to ANSI C Language, Advanced Topics in ANSI C Language, Shell Programming, awk, Introduction to UNIX, and UNIX Shell and Command Tools.

She has authored two books published by John Wiley & Sons: Structured COBOL Programming Study Guide and OS/JCL Study Guide.
