Introduction:
The Interactive
System Productivity Facility (ISPF) Program Development
Facility (PDF) provides the end user an environment in which
he/she can interact with the facilities of MVS. Using
TSO/ISPF's editor, the end user can interactively create
files and submit jobs for batch execution. Output from these
jobs can be viewed on-line. In addition, TSO/ISPF offers a
complete set of utilities for viewing MVS catalogs and
volume tables of contents (VTOCs), and for manipulating user
files. Objectives: On completion of this course, the student
should be able to:
Prerequisites: Knowledge of OS/390 fundamentals (such as data
set organizations, batch and foreground operation), and
experience coding JCL. |
